  1. 1.The film helps me understand the novel by having some similarities and differences. Like the names they have are the same as in the novel. Then there are diferences. Like the bully was Blade in the film, but in the novel it was Tony D.

  2. The way it helps is that we actually get to see what's going on in the book. Another way is we see all the expression and the way the tone are because in the book they say it in one tone and instead the movie says it in any kind of tone. The way it helps is that we actually get to see what's going on in the book. The finally way is that it gave you a look at there Appearance and how the act Toward others like Max is mean and Grumpy and that he clothes show that he doesn’t care about how little or big his clothes are.

  3. No, because then we wouldn’t have understood the movie. Another reason is that the movie is a lot more different then the book, because it would confuse people on what’s going on in the book. The book has more detail than the movie like they don’t talk as much about how the met in the movie as the do in the book. The final reason is that the movie says to little about the characters. The book says a lot about the characters and know how the feel.

  4. No, me opinion has not changed on freak or mighty, because the never changed how they were. Another reason is that they stayed the same in the movie and book. There were more things that happened in the beginning of the movie than the book. In the book it starts out with him talk about how the were friends before Kevin moved away. In the movie it starts out with Max and Kevin never being friends and that Kevin gets picked on by other kids. The final reason is that in both the movie and the book there both still friends, because even though Kevin died they still had fun together before he died

  5. I think they changed the title of “Freak the Mighty” to “The Mighty” because the word freak has a lot of different meanings and people might think it’s something inappropriate and not buy or see it. Another reason is that people might take it a different way than you or I would take it, such as taking the word “freak” to mean “inhuman” or “bad.” The movie title was probably changed before the movie came out on DVD. The final reason is that people who classify themselves as “freaks” or “different” might take offence to that title and not want to see it. People might write bad reviews because of the title

  6. 1. the way the film "the mighty" helped me understand the "freak the mighty" (the book, was it helped me to know better on how the characters looked.

    2. no, because when you read the book it's like more challengin, to visualize what you think the characters look like.

    3. not really it hasnt changed much. in the book Freak was always caring and smart talking people and same with in the movie. The same went on with Mighty he was very caring of his friend and grandparents and sensative toward his past life.

    4. i think the title is different because the producer of the film did not like the title "freak the mighty" so he/she changed it to "the mighty".

  7. 1. it helped me visuallize max and freak better as well as many other characters.

    2. no because if we had watched the movie first we would have not wanted to read it if we have got away with watching it first no one would think about reading it. (I like the book better)

3.my opinion has not changed on freak nor mighty i still think of them as 8 feet tall going on quest slaying dragons and such.

    4. i am not so sure maybye The Mighty is a little more catchy instead of saying the whole title.

  8. 2.No because it would take to long to do both. The book should go first because it wasn't as fun as the movie. It also wasn't as funny.
3.No because they both sond the same to me as in the movie and the novel. They act in the movie the same as in the novel. they both also had the same disorders as in the novel.
    4. Because there was a diferent scene in the movie. Where freak made his name in a museum. Thats why its called THE MIGHTY.

  9. -watching the film helped understand the novel becuase it put some events in different views. It showed real actions of what happened. It was more detailed and clear.- no because i like reading to watch. The movie is much better because its shows the actual actions. You hear there exact expressions and see how they feel bout things.- My opinion changed about Freak because he is the brave one. He talks back to the bigger people. He stands up for himself when the bullies try to pick on him.- I think the title is different because together there just mighty. They are more together. There helping eachother all the time in the movie.

  10. Yes because it helps you picture what you don't understand. The movie explains the small details which helped to tell you why the event happened

No because the novel is the original and you can easily compare between the to.

I think freak is a little more mean or stubborn because he talks back a lot and argues with his mom.

The story revolves more around Max and mostly reflects what he does ad thinks.
